Podium finish in HTF's Championship Weekend finale at I-75

Winfield, Tennessee’s Mike Marlar traveled two hours south to I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.) on Friday evening for the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series doubleheader.

With Friday night’s preliminary event kicking off the tour’s Championship Weekend, Marlar snuck into the opener with a third-place finish in his heat race. Chasing a $10,000 payday, Mike faded two positions to finish 14th.

On Saturday, Mike backed up runner-up finish in his heat race with a seventh-to-third run in the 50-lap, $20,000-to-win Championship Weekend finale. He joined race-winner Brandon Overton and Dale McDowell on the podium.
