Mike Marlar rides to third in Coors Light Fall Classic at Whynot

In his final start in the month of October, Mike Marlar made an appearance at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Miss.) over the weekend for the 30th annual Coors Light Fall Classic.

Joining 50 Super Late Models on Friday for dual preliminary features, Marlar rallied into the Top-5 in his feature after a slight tangle in his heat. Pinned on the seventh row for his prelim, Mike climbed eight positions in the 30-lapper to finish fifth.

On Saturday, Mike advanced into the $20,000-to-win Coors Light Fall Classic with a third-to-first outing in his heat race. After pacing the opening circuit of the 60-lap finale, Marlar rolled to a third-place finish. He joined race-winner Tyler Erb and Ashton Winger on the podium.
