Mike Marlar 10th in Pittsburgher prelim at PPMS
Mike Marlar returned on the road with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Friday evening at Pittsburgh PA Motor Speedway (Pittsburgh, PA) for the 36th annual Pittsburgher.
Drawing 38 entries for the two-day event, Marlar edged into Friday’s preliminary with the final transfer spot in his heat. Cracking the top 10 from the seventh row, Mike improved four positions to finish 10th.
On Saturday, Mike qualified sixth-fastest in his group before placing second in his heat. With a $50,000 payday up for grabs in the Pittsburgher finale, Marlar faded to finish 17th at the checkers.
Mike remains in seventh in the latest LOLMDS point standings.
