Marlar Competes in 31st Annual Harris Clash

Mike Marlar made a rare appearance in an IMCA Modified on Tuesday night during the 31st running of the Harris Clash at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minn.).

A stout field of 76 entries were on hand for the $5,000-to-win program, and Mike started his night with a third-to-second performance in his heat race, which positioned him on the pole for a B-Main.

After winning the B-Main, Mike started 17th on the grid for the 30-lap finale. Unfortunately, contact from another competitor early in the event sidelined him to a 29th-place finish.
