Mike Marlar Dominates Iron-Man Weekend at Atomic Speedway
Tennessee Native Sweeps Doubleheader with Ronnie Delk
WINFIELD, Tenn. (10/27/25) – Back together and back on top, Tennessee’s Mike Marlar and longtime car owner Ronnie Delk made a powerful statement over the weekend, sweeping the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series doubleheader at Atomic Speedway.
The 2018 World of Outlaws champion was nearly untouchable across both nights, leading every lap of both features — 30 on Friday and 40 on Saturday — to earn a combined $20,000 payday.
“What a weekend,” Marlar said. “I can’t thank my team, family, and sponsors enough for everything they do. And a big thanks to Ronnie — we didn’t have much of a plan coming into this, but he really stepped up. I’m proud we could get both wins for him this weekend. I’m looking forward to carrying this momentum and finishing the season strong.”
Marlar’s run in the Buckeye State began with fast-time honors and a heat race victory on Friday. He then held off fierce challenges from 2025 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series champion Devin Moran to capture the $5,000 opener.
On Saturday, Marlar once again set the pace, topping qualifying and winning his heat before leading flag-to-flag in the 40-lap finale. The victory marked his fifth Super Late Model triumph of the season and fifth career Iron-Man Series win.

Marlar and the Delk Equipment team will take the upcoming weekend off to prepare for the final two races on their 2025 schedule: the World of Outlaws World Finals on the first weekend of November at The Dirt Track at Charlotte, and the Gateway Dirt Nationals at The Dome at America’s Center in early December.
