Mike Marlar scores sixth-place finish at Eldora Speedway in Dirt Track World Championship

Mike Marlar joined the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series for the series finale at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) and was one of 59 Super Late Models in attendance for the 45th-annual Dirt Track World Championship.

Marlar qualified seventh-quickest in his group on Friday evening before finishing fourth in his heat race. On Saturday, Mike picked up the win in his B-Main and started 19th in the $100,000-to-win finale. Charging through the field, Marlar used all 100-laps to his advantage and finished just outside the Top-5 in sixth.
