Mike Marlar to Conclude His Two Year Tenure With Skyline Motorsports
After much consideration, Skyline Motorsports and Mike Marlar have decided to move in different directions. This decision comes with mutual respect and gratitude between all parties involved.
Over the course of two seasons, Marlar & Skyline Motorsports have achieved many memorable moments, wins and shared countless experiences on and off the track. We are proud of what was accomplished together and thankful for the support from fans and sponsors.
“This was not an easy decision, but one made with the best interests of everyone in mind,” said Marlar. “We are incredibly grateful to Greg & Tyler Bruening and the entire Skyline Motorsports team, sponsors, and supporters who have been part of this journey. The friendships and memories made will last well beyond our time competing as a team.”
While Marlar is taking a new role, both parties look forward to new opportunities in the future and will continue to support each other’s endeavors. Marlar, along with crew members Josh Davis & Jerry Sprouse, will field a Ronnie Delk owned 157 with sponsorship from Skyline Motorsports. Team owner, Greg Bruening, has not announced a replacement driver for their second team.
Marlar & the Bruenings would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been part of this chapter and we’re excited to see what the future holds for everyone involved.
