Mike Marlar earns Top-10 in World 100 prelim at Eldora Speedway
Kicking off the crown jewel weekend with twin $12,000-to-win preliminary nights, Mike Marlar joined a field of over 100 Super Late Models at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday afternoon for the 55th-running of the World 100.
On the opening night of competition, Marlar recorded his best run of the weekend with an eighth-place outing in his prelim feature. Mike followed that up with a 16th-place finish on Friday night. Marlar hit the invert just right for Saturday's heat races, but fell back to finish fifth and go to a B-Main. Mike fell back in his last chance race as well which ended his weekend.
