Mike Marlar
Runner-up in Florence's Spring 50
Saturday saw Mike Marlar return to action with a visit to Florence Speedway (Union, Ky.) for the 49th annual Spring 50.
With 35 Super Late Models on the grounds, Marlar's heat result pinned him on the fifth row for the $10,000-to-win Florence 50. Finding his footing as the 50-lapper progressed, Mike rolled to a runner-up finish. He joined race-winner Josh Rice on the podium with Devin Gilpin finishing third.
