Marlar finishes 10th on Saturday night at Vado Speedway Park
Skyline Motorsports driver Mike Marlar returned to Vado (New Mexico) Speedway Park over the weekend for the final three rounds of the 19th annual Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout miniseries.
After contact while battling for 10th ended Marlar’s night on Friday, Mike squeezed into Saturday’s feature with a runner-up finish in his consolation race. Wheeling his way into the top-10, Marlar passed 10 cars in the 40-lapper to register a 10th-place finish.
A lap-25 exit in Sunday’s $25,000-to-win Wild West Shootout finale brought a disappointing end to Marlar’s weekend.
