Mike Marlar visits Eldora Speedway for Dream XXX
Coming off Wednesday’s rain out, Mike Marlar returned to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Friday as his preliminary night for the 30th running of the Dirt Late Model Dream kicked off.
With the 100-car field divided into two groups over Thursday and Friday, Mike raced into his prelim with dominant victory in his heat race. Starting the feature paying $25,000 to the winner in eighth, Marlar was an early retiree on lap 36.
Marlar’s bid for Saturday’s $100,030-to-win Dream XXX came to an early end with a 13th-place outing in his B-Main.
