Pair of top-10's in Wieland Winternationals at East Bay Raceway Park
Mike Marlar rejoined the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Wednesday for the final Wieland Winternationals at East Bay Raceway Park (Tampa, Fla.) aboard his Skyline Motorsports No. 157 Late Model.
Sneaking into the A-Main with the final transfer spot in his B-Main, Marlar marched through the field 21 spots in the 40-lap affair to register a second-place finish. He followed Tyler Erb across the line with Jonathan Davenport coming in third.
Scoring another top-10 finish on Thursday, Mike backed up a consolation victory with a 19th-to-7th showing in the A-Main.
Racing in Friday’s feature with another B-Main win, Marlar passed 10 cars in the 50-lapper to finish 11th.
Mike capped off the Wieland Winternationals with another impressive drive in the feature after taking a provisional into the $15,000-to-win main event. He started 27th and finished 12th.
