Mike Marlar snags third-place finish at Marshalltown
Wednesday night saw Mike Marlar return with the Castrol FloRacing Night in America at Marshalltown Speedway (Marshalltown, Iowa) for the fifth round of the 12-race mini-series. (Josh James Artwork)
After lowering the track record in time trials with a 13.758-second lap, Mike outdueled Tim McCreadie in his heat to pick up the eight-lap victory. Earning the pole position for the $22,022-to-win A-Main, Marlar dropped two positons in the 50-lap affair to register a third-place finish. He followed Hudson O’Neal and Brandon Sheppard across the line.
Mike is currently tied for second in the Castrol FloRacing Night in America point standings.
